The Buckhorn District Snowmobile Club has closed its’ trails for the season and hopes everyone that used our trails this past winter experienced a smooth and safe ride. Considering the lack of snow this year the Groomer Operators did an excellent job of maintaining the trails. They logged approximately 450 hours this season as compared to 600 hours last year. Year after year our trails keep getting better, due to the dedication of our volunteers that start working on trail brushing, bridge repairs, etc in the summer, getting ready for the coming season. Not to forget the Trail Patrollers and other volunteers that perform important functions for the Club.
A big thank you goes out to the landowners who help make the trail network possible. The Club will be re-decking a couple of bridges this spring so if your looking for something to do some Saturday please e-mail bdscsnow@yahoo.com, or phone Ken Swift 705-292-5658 or keeping checking on our events page. We will be posting upcoming work party dates and times.
We hope everyone has a great summer.
Sincerely, The BDSC Board of Directors
